Annemarie Fux grew up in Switzerland, surrounded by the beauty of the Swiss Alps. In 1980, she moved to British Columbia Canada. First to Valemount,  then to Vernon, after which she moved to the Okanagan Valley.  She now resides in Terrace.

Attending Okanagan University College she majored in sculpture, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She then added to her knowledge and skills by studying with two glass artists. In order to express her thoughts through her art,  Annemarie constantly learns and experiments with her media.
