MATTHEW DARATHA bio and link
Matthew Daratha was born 1984 and raised in Saskatchewan. He is an artist who studies in more than one medium. His intense neon colours are due to his slight colour blindness. Matthew has been inspired by a local artist, Ryan Stella. He also has studied water colour with Grant Fuller, and painting with acrylics from Pat Ennis.
He has studied traditional native carving and fine art at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art located in Terrace BC, where he currently resides.
His pieces are all originals, he no longer makes copies or prints of his work. He believes each customer should have something original.
